SafetyRespect’s temporary edge protection barrier system’s lightweight and adjustable design has made it first choice at Manchester’s prestigious First Street development, Plot 9a in Manchester.
In the video above Oliver Gwinnell, MD at SafetyRespect UK, is talking about the construction site at plot 9A in Manchester. Over 2,100 linear metres of temporary edge protection barriers is being used to protect site staff while the nine floor, 131,000 square feet office building is built. The systems lightweight adjustable design makes it ideal for installing on the beam and lifting into the position. It can be adjusted up and down and in and out to facilitate the stud welding and metal deck installation without the need to remove the barriers. The products are robust enough for heavyweight, long-term use making it more and more everyone’s first choice.
Plot 9a, First Street is an office building in central Manchester with an expected completion date of August 2024. The main contractor is BAM Construction.
