In building constructions with wooden beams and columns the edge protection can be mounted with various systems and solutions, for example with Flex facade brackets. The facade bracket is directly mounted on a wooden beam with the required wood screws. When a roof protection is required, a Hall system can be installed in the wood structure. The attachment is then done by using rods.

When steel beams are used in the building construction a Welding socket with integrated post lock should be designed as an attachment of edge protection. In these cases the Welding socket is welded according to the instructions when producing the steel beams. When the beam has been lifted in place Post 1,3 m and Barrier 2,6 are mounted. The attachment of the edge protection will become both safer and faster with a pre-fabricated attachment such as this one.

In order to create a free working space on roofs Flex facade bracket can be used as an attachment of edge protection. The distance between the facade and collective edge protection can easily be adjusted during ongoing work. Flex facade bracket is available in three different lengths to suit most situations and if the attachments are projected early in the process, the installation is quick and smooth, with high safety. Basic training in how to install safety nets. The training includes terms, definitions, classification and configurations of safety nets according to the EN1263-1 & 2 standards, safety requirements for assembly and dismantling and what an inspection must include. The course has practical elements, but the training is mainly theoretical.
Previous knowledge required: On-line – Introduction to fall protection.
